Take a break from
your regular school day and join us in Olympia to honor the hardworking men and women of the legislature.
Each year for the
Homeschool Day at the Capitol we plan special events to enhance your educational experience, such as special speakers, workshops,
tours of the capitol, presentation of legislative information, and an awards ceremonies.

Thank you to
all who have attended one or more of these events. Your support has enabled us to be very effective in the legislative process.
Most importantly, your attendance and support has raised awareness of how much we value this choice in education, and your
wonderful children have demonstrated how successful homeschooling can be!
A
note to attendees:
Space
at the State Capitol is very limited so you will need to pre-register for this event. Pre-registration starts
in November. CHN will send out an announcement through their e-alert network and post information on the CHN web site.
CHN
does not schedule meetings with your legislators for you. If you want
to meet with your legislators, you will need to schedule a meeting through their office. Meetings generally last about
fifteen minutes. Legislators are always happy to meet the whole family, so bring your well-behaved children. Tell them how
much you enjoy the freedom to homeschool and how homeschooling has had a positive impact on you and your family. For

you are planning to bring a large group and would like assistance please e-mail us at chnow@msn.com and we will try to accommodate you. Please note that as of the first
week of January we will
be in the middle of the legislative session and will also be homeschooling our children, so please try
to contact us with questions and concerns before then.
