Pictured above Scott & DiAnna Brannan, with their two children Alan and Allison (2003).

Scott & DiAnna Brannan founded CHN in 2003. They have been happily married for twenty-seven years. They have two grown children, who were home educated from the beginning. The Brannan’s have served in several capacities within the homeschool community at the state, regional and local level. Scott is employed full time as a network engineer.

The Brannans began CHN as a family ministry. They have spent many days in Olympia together working on issues. Alan and Allison have served in many capacities within the organization and have had some great experiences as a result. Alan even had a chance to testify before the Senate on a bill when he was 17.

Allison has been Registration Coordinator for the Home Educators Day at the Capitol event since she was 15 and still serves in that capacity today.

Today, Alan and Allison are both busy preparing for their future and are not as involved as in the early years. However, they both plan to homeschool their children one day and know that helping launch CHN was critical to protecting homeschool freedoms.

Scott serves as president and DiAnna serves as Director of Advocacy and grassroots lobbyist for CHN.
